Greater Manchester Marathon 28th April 2013

Thank you for taking the time to read my fundraising information. I have decided to run the Manchester Marathon to raise money for The Isabella Grace Fund and Sands UK in memory of two very special babies and their parents.

Isabella Grace Senior, was diagnosed with Bronchiolitis in December 2011. She deteriorated very quickly and was transferred to Leeds General Infirmary Paediatric Intensive Care Unit where she would stay for 40 days and endure numerous medical procedures and interventions. Sadly on 8th February 2012 Isabella fell asleep in her Mummy and Daddy's arms.

The Isabella Grace fund aims to raise awareness of RSV and Bronchiolitis to prevent other parents and families experiencing the heartache caused by an illness that is not heavily publicised but is quite common in babies and young children.

Oscar Jojic was born sleeping on 31st August 2012 in tragic circumstances due to serious health complications with his Mummy, which were sadly not diagnosed in time to save him. He weighed 3lb 8oz and was a healthy baby at 31 weeks gestation. Oscar was much anticipated and loved deeply by his Mummy, Daddy, family and friends and his memory will be treasured forever.

One of the things that Sands campaigns for is more regular scans, particularly in the third trimester of pregnancy so it's hoped that money can be raised in Oscar's memory to support this great charity.
