Michelle Thompson's Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

On the 9th September 2012, Michelle Thompson was joined by Colleagues from West Yorkshire Police and undertook the gruelling challenge of completing the 3 Peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. The team which included Michelle, Sarah Thompson, Jayne Harrison, Barry Exley and Christopher Drake had set themselves a target of 12 hours to complete the challenge.

The team had good weather but it was some of the treacherous walking conditions which posed a problem. One of the girls sadly became immersed in waist deep of mud!!! The team stuck together during the harder times of the walk and managed to complete the challenge in a very credible 13 hours !!!

Michelle managed to raise a staggering £537 !!!! A big thank you to Michelle and all the team.
