The Isabella Grace Fund Present's a Night with Grant Saunders & Billy Pearce

The Isabella Grace Fund is proud to announce that the Evening at the Frontier, Batley was a fantastic success.

The doors opened at 7 o'clock and over 700 tickets had been sold for the evening which was a great response by Friends, Family and members of the public supporting the Isabella Grace Fund.

On the evening we launched our Bronchiolitis and Rsv awareness wristbands for adults and children. A big thank you to everyone who purchased a band to help us raise the awareness of what took our beautiful baby girl.

In the hour leading up to the start of the show, guests placed their name on a Bank of England note of their choice to be in with a chance of winning some fantastic prizes on offer.

Prizes included, Signed Leeds United shirt, Leeds United goodie bag, a nights stay at the Shelbourne hotel, Harrogate to name a few.

The show commenced at 8 o'clock with the evening introduced by Isabella's daddy Ryan. Ryan explained Isabella's tragic story and the evening started with an emotional slide show accompanied by Music by Leona Lewis - The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.

First on stage was Grant Saunders with his Comedy Hypnotist Show. Grant was not short of volunteers for the evening as guests willingly volunteered to be a part of a special performance. Grant was simply amazing. Grant turned the tears of sadness into tears of laughter. His guests were like putty in his hands. A truely amazing show by an incredible performer.

Their was a short break and at around 9.30pm, the King of Comedy entered the stage. Mr Billy Pearce. What can we say, he simply had everyone in stitches. Billy carried out a cross section of his material and was once again a hit with the strong crowd. 70 Minutes of joke after joke with no time to catch his breath. Billy simply brought the house down.

At the end of the show both Grant and Billy assisted Lyndsey and Ryan in handing out prizes to the lucky winners.

At the very end of the performance, Lyndsey & Ryan, Isabella's Mummy and Daddy addressed the crowd for an emotional announcement.

During the evening we managed to raise a staggering £14,500 !!! Which is simply a fantastic achievement by everyone. This meant that the Isabella Grace Fund was proud to announce that we had smashed our £50,000 target!!!!

This would enable us to purchase the life saving Oscillator Ventilator and Cot Bed and be able to donate this to Ward 2 PICU at the Leeds General Infirmary.

Lyndsey and I are so pleased to announce that the life saving equipment is currently on order and will be hopefully be at the Hospital in 6 to 8 weeks time.

As Isabella's parent's this means that our daughter's legacy will live on. Isabella's courage, strength and determination would be with other sick babies and children every step of the way.

The Isabella Grace Fund would like to say a big thank you to our sponsors for the evening. Associated Waste Management, Senior Electrical & Security Systems Ltd, UltraSyntec Ltd & Whiteghyll Plastics Ltd. Thank you for all your support.
